Precautions for the use of solid tires for loaders
Release Time:2021-08-17

Each type of solid tire for loader has its specific purpose and use characteristics. Usually it can only be used within the specified range, and it will cause abnormal damage if it exceeds the range of use. Therefore, if the tire is not selected properly, it will seriously affect the service life of the tire and affect its performance. The selection of specific loader tire specifications and models is determined by the manufacturer according to the overall design requirements and load conditions of the complete machine. Users can put forward special order requirements or buy tires with suitable tread patterns according to the actual conditions of their actual work sites.

Generally speaking, solid tires with traction patterns - LSUHBA708 & LSNZBA708 - are the most commonly used tires for loaders, suitable for working conditions on soft and muddy ground. It can exert great traction and has good self-cleaning performance.

In addition, the LSNZBA709 solid tire is suitable for loaders working under harsh conditions. It has good wear resistance and cut resistance, and is a solid tire with a long service life.

What aspects should be paid attention to during normal use of solid tires?

1, Control the loading quality and driving speed

It must be loaded according to the rated load calibrated by the loader. Under normal circumstances, an overload of less than 15% is acceptable. However, overloading work will increase the tire deformation and seriously affect the service life of the tire. Under special circumstances, it can be used with overload, but it should not be used for a long time. In the actual operation process, attention should be paid to the radial deformation of the tire.

Similarly, driving speed has a great influence on the life of tires. In actual use, speed and load have the same meaning. In some cases, speed is even more important. In order to achieve the best results, if the vehicle speed is higher than the tire's rated speed, the transportation load should be appropriately reduced; if the vehicle speed is lower than the tire's rated speed, the transportation load can be appropriately increased. Because the tire is in contact with the ground, rubs, and the carcass vibrates in actual use, the circumferential and lateral deformations occur, which intensify with the increase of vehicle speed, and the tire temperature will rise sharply.

2. Control the tire temperature

During the operation of the loader, the load acting on the tires periodically changes, causing the tires to deform periodically, and at the same time, the tires are in contact with the ground and rubbed. In this way, the temperature of the carcass will continue to rise. The temperature rise of the carcass is not only related to the load weight, driving speed, and road conditions of the vehicle, but also related to the working time and ambient temperature. In summer, the outside air temperature is high, and the tire temperature changes in a small range, and the tire temperature is easy to rise. As the temperature of the tire carcass increases, it promotes the aging of the rubber, and the performance of the tire will decrease.

Therefore, in the hot summer season, it is best to work in the morning and evening, and take a break at noon to prevent the tire temperature from becoming too high. If the situation does not allow, during the operation, be sure to check the tire temperature, touch the tire body with your hands, and stop immediately if you find it is hot. When parking and resting, you should park the car in a cool place to avoid exposing the tires in the sun, and wait for the tire temperature to naturally decrease before starting work. Do not use pouring cold water to reduce pressure and temperature.

3, the use of new tires

When a new tire is first used, there is an adaptation process, which is equivalent to the running-in period of mechanical equipment to ensure that all parts of the tire gradually adapt to the deformation. It should be noted:

A, Avoid running operations under harsh working conditions; avoid sudden starts, sharp turns and sudden braking.

B, Speed limit: to prevent damage caused by too much heat.

C. If abnormalities such as sound, vibration, etc. are found during driving operation, stop and check immediately.

Improving the service life of tires is a comprehensive issue. In addition to the above main use precautions, it also depends on the driving skills of the driver. If the driver does not pay attention to checking the tires before driving, or improper operation during the operation Will cause serious early damage to the tire. Users can choose different tread pattern tires or install tire protection chains according to their actual working sites.
